eNett International wins Best Digital Payments Programme at the Card & Payments Awards 2018

February 13, 2018

eNett International, a leading provider of B2B payment solutions, has won Best Alternative or Digital Payments Programme at the Card & Payments Awards for its Virtual Account Numbers (VANs).

The Card & Payments Awards recognise excellence and innovation in the card and payments industries. The prestigious awards are judged by an independent panel of industry experts against key criteria. Following a stringent judging process, eNett was chosen as the category winner for disrupting B2B travel payments with eNett VANs. This continues the momentum of industry award wins with another eight won in 2017.

eNett Managing Director and CEO, Anthony Hynes, said, “It’s an honour to win such a prestigious award this award, competing against the best in innovation. We saw the inefficiencies and pain-points of B2B payments in the travel industry, and developed VANs to change the game. Today, VANs provide a fast, safe and easy alternative to traditional payment methods, and bring real benefits to travel companies across the world. I look forward to introducing more innovations to bring an ever more frictionless payment experience to our customers and the travel industry as a whole.”

An eNett VAN is an automatically generated Mastercard number used for B2B supplier payments. VANs are tailored to the unique pain points of the travel industry, automating payments processing and reconciliation, and reducing the risk of fraud.

The 2018 ceremony took place at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London’s Park Lane. Each year more than 1200 key players from across the industry join together to celebrate industry achievements.
