eNett International is committed to working with our travel agency customers, airlines and other industry stakeholders, to provide payment solutions that benefit all participants in the travel value chain. In the best interests of the travel industry, a focus of eNett is to raise awareness around how all stakeholders in the travel value chain ,including airlines, can benefit from accepting virtual cards as part of their B2B payments and distribution strategy.
In 2019 we continued our drive to raise awareness of the benefits that airlines gain from accepting eNett Virtual Account Numbers (VANs) in the following ways:
These efforts are beginning to show some real results. eNett has now successfully implemented acceptance agreements with numerous airlines, including Air Canada and United Airlines, with more to follow in 2020. We’ve also supported several of our customers in their discussions with airlines. And we’ve continued to adapt our approach based on customer and market feedback, to ensure the most effective industry discussions can take place.
These efforts will continue in 2020 and more activities are planned to enhance the awareness in the market. . eNett’s CEO and Managing Director, Anthony Hynes, will be participating in a panel discussion about Simplifying B2B payments at the ATPS Airline & Travel B2B Payments Summit Special in London at the end of February.
If you’re interested in learning more about how eNett is tackling the issue of airline acceptance of virtual cards, please reach out to eNett or your account manager directly.
