We’d like you to meet our Airline Partnerships Team.
eNett is committed to working with airlines, travel agencies and other stakeholders to provide payment solutions that benefit all participants in the travel value chain. A key part of this focus is ensuring that we have the best people in the right places, to help us engage with each party and support them in their B2B payments strategies.
We’d like you to meet our Airline Partnerships Team; established in 2018 to support eNett’s focus on helping airlines and travel agencies who sell air volume. The team is truly unique and comprises people with decades of individual experience in airline distribution and payments. With their combined knowledge and expertise, they are an asset to our business in delivering advice that’s specific to airline objectives and circumstances.
Together, their goal is to educate travel agencies, airlines and the broader market to make informed decisions on their B2B payment strategy and work together effectively.
Over the coming weeks and months, you’re going to hear from them through various blogs and webinars within the industry. They’ll be discussing the limitations of the current B2B travel landscape, diving deeper into how airlines and agents can work together to benefit both parties, and ultimately focusing on how suppliers and agents can leverage payments to optimise their customer’s experience with the ‘merchant model’.
But first. We’d like you to get to know them and how they know what they know. And why we think they’re the best in the business when it comes to working with agents and airlines to align their B2B payment strategies.
Mark Bowmer – Head of Global Airline Development and Supplier Solutions.
Mark works with some of the largest airlines and travel agents in the world. He also works closely with our customers, partners and important industry associations, to improve their payment knowledge and deliver business solutions.
We’re lucky to have him. He’s been working in travel and payments for over 30 years, specialising in the areas of airline distribution, travel agency and airline technology, and travel payments industry. Prior to joining eNett in 2006, he held several senior management positions, including the roles of Head of Strategy and Business Projects for Sabre Pacific, and Head of Asia Pacific for Airlogica Corporation. He was also an Executive Manager within Qantas Distribution where he was responsible for the development of strategy and delivering change initiatives. Mark’s work at eNett allows him to blend his travel industry knowledge with best practice in travel payments.
Livia Vite – Head of Airline Partnerships.
Livia works closely with airlines to maximise the acceptance of eNett VANs from their agency partners. Her role also involves supporting our customers in their airline discussions and educating the industry on virtual B2B payments between airlines and agencies by working with our strategic partners like Mastercard and industry associations like WTAAA (World Travel Agent Associations Alliance) and IATA (International Air Transport Association).
She has over 15 years’ experience working in the airlines and travel payment industry as well as experience as a lawyer working in banking and finance. Before joining eNett, she held global strategic senior management positions at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) for the IATA agency programs. And worked closely with airlines, travel agent associations and major travel agencies globally to solve the challenges facing air distribution.
Livia’s understanding of airline distribution and its challenges at both an individual airline, agent and industry level is a huge asset to our business.
Eugene Kalatsidis - Senior Director of Airline Partnerships EMEA.
Eugene supports eNett’s customers and partner airlines on the role of B2B payments in airline distribution.
Having worked in travel distribution for more than 15 years, his experience spans from managing the ticketing team in a travel agency to several roles with IATA. He also holds Bachelor and master’s degrees in Air Transport and Airport Management. Eugene has thorough knowledge and experience in the air transport and travel industries, with a great understanding of their dynamics and pain points. This allows him to have a holistic view of the opportunities for both airline partners and customers, to excel in their objectives.
More to come.
As the travel distribution landscape continues to change, eNett’s ability to support all stakeholders in the travel value chain in their drive to strengthen their B2B payment strategies is becoming increasingly important. So, keep an eye out over the coming weeks and months for the various blogs and webinars from our Airline Partnerships Team.
