eNett International Launches feeNett, a Fully Integrated Service Fee Solution for Travel Agencies in the USA.

Date: August 2, 2010
New feeNett Apollo and Worldspan Versions Provide More Flexible and Customer-friendly Service Fee Solution

eNett International, a joint venture with Travelport, today announces plans to launch its feeNett application in the USA. feeNett is a fully integrated payment solution that allows travel agencies to process service fees, enabled by seamless integration with desktop and back-office processes and systems. Previously only available in Australia, the new and improved versions of feeNett as deployed in the U.S. market, offer seamless integration with the Apollo and Worldspan platforms and will become available early in Q4 2010.

The state-of-the art feeNett system enables all travel agencies, regardless of GDS, to conveniently and cost effectively process service fees. It delivers streamlined processing of payments by eliminating multiple entries of data and boasts faster settlement of fees, competitive merchant rates, enhanced transaction data on card statements and comprehensive web-based reporting on all transactions in real-time.

“feeNett is a best-of-breed application that leverages eNett International’s core capability of offering integrated payment solutions to the travel industry,” said Rob Bishop, executive director of eNett International. “feeNett not only delivers cheaper and faster settlement, together with a fully automated invoicing and reconciliation capability, but also allows travel agencies to fully document and detail the entire transaction, allowing enhanced data to correctly reflect the service fee in reports or on travellers’ card statements,” Bishop added.

“We are very excited about the launch of feeNett in the USA,” said eNett International’s Chris Vukelich, SVP, Business Development for the Americas. “The unique features of feeNett will assist travel professionals to more effectively manage their service fees and improve their profitability.”

Travis Christ, president of Travelport GDS for the Americas concluded, “Travelport is always looking for new and innovative solutions for its clients. We are delighted that eNett International has further enhanced their feeNett solution to meet the needs of the U.S. market and our clients in the region.”

feeNett will be demonstrated at the Travelport booth (#1037) at the upcoming NBTA conference in Houston. Future versions of feeNett, which offer full integration with all GDS platforms, are in development and are scheduled to launch later this year.
